Annual Reindeer Route Housewalk raises funds for Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare, delivers toys to pediatric patients

ELMHURST — The Junior Unit of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild hosted its 33rd Annual Reindeer Route Housewalk on December 4. This annual fundraising event, which has become a local holiday tradition for many, had 600 attendees and raised $17,500 to benefit projects and programs of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare.

This year, attendees were asked to bring unwrapped toys for pediatric patients to the Housewalk. Members of the Junior Unit delivered the toys to pediatric patients in several Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare locations over the holidays.
