Staying ahead of the weather

The building that will be the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital is substantially enclosed and ready for winter. All of the exterior windows have been installed while permanent roof systems are about 85% complete with all remaining roof areas temporarily covered. We've also installed a temporary heating system to temper the building during the winter months.
The exterior masonry work is about 85% done and our crews will work at a reduced pace during the winter in limited areas. We have two temporary man and material lifts on the south of the building so the masonry work there cannot be completed until the lifts have been removed. We anticipate it to be completed in the summer.
