Quality of Care Measures
Breast Cancer
The following three breast cancer quality-focused measures have been endorsed by the National Quality Forum (NQF). With submission of EMHC-specific data to the National Cancer Data Base (NCDB) we are able to compare our compliance rate of these accountability measures against state and national rates. These measures not only emphasize the quality of patient care but also the importance of accurate and complete documentation.
Comparison data below is for breast cancer cases diagnosed in calendar year 2007.
